My wife and I had the pleasure of standing front row with a couple of other JBT show virgins and a couple pros at the Madison Theater last night. WOW!!! Awesome show and wonderful experience. I want thank pjvedder for showing us the ropes and sharing his JBT knowledge. Much appriciated dude! I was wet with sweat waiting for the show and ended the night wet in the rain with a handshake from John. I can not imagine a better way. Thanks to all that make it happen. John is truely one of gods gifts to this earth and I pray that he continues his great work through his unbelievable talents. Peace to all

It was a pleasure meeting you guys also. We have a lot to take care of here at home, but Lord willing that will not be our last time seeing John live. We will do what we can to support him. Keep up your good work with this site and take care! Thanks again!!!

Thanks mojo!!!

SeeingAngles: The high test treated me just right! I appreciated that greatly! Sorry about the PBR accident:( I was lucky to even make it back after that trip upstairs. We were supposed to be meeting a buddy and his wife for the show but he forgot his cell and could not find us. He has seen many shows but it was his first JBT live show. He said it was the best ever and the crowd was great. Hard to tell from where we were :) There could have been a riot back there and I would have no known or cared. It was a pleasure meeting you. Thanks to you guys for the kindness! Hope to see ya at another show someday. JBT forever!!!!

The Madison was my first JBT show and i was left speechless as im sure most everyone there was... I also made sure to arrive early so i could get front row which i did right in front of Byron!! I can wait to see him again, It would be nice if he didnt wait so long next time and if he came closer to the midwest area.. Dont get me wrong i would drive 7 hours any day of the week to see him again. I consider myself pretty lucky i was able to get the setlist that Byron used and Brother Michael was able to get John and Byron to sign it :) Unfortunately Niki was in the shower already so i wasnt able to get his but hey i cant complain. Just wondering if anyone else has some good stories about the night??

Madison theater was better than I could have imagined. It was a perfect weekend for JBT to be in Cincy. I had a wedding to go to the night before and checked the tour dates again back in May and was stoked once I saw that JBT would be the next night. This was my fourth time seeing him and probably tied for the best. I brought along 6 newbies with me and I have them all obsessed with the band. It was an awesome experience. Mama kin was awesome as usual. I got to be good friends with Dave who works the merch counter. I talked with him a good amount of time and then MK came to the counter after her set and got to talk to her as well. Afterwards went out back and waited for everybody to come out and got to meet byron and nicky finally. They were chilled and enthused to meet with the fans. I got to meet john before 4 years ago but made sure to talk with him again. A cool story about 4 years ago: Went to see them in Nashville with a friend. Awesome concert, expect nothing less from the band. Afterwards I thought my truck had been stolen, turns out later it had been towed for some stupid reason, so my friend and I were waiting on the sidewalk outside the venue. The buses were out there since the crew was loading up equipment and we were watching. Then all of a sudden John, Michael, and Shannon all come around the corner together and got starting talking to them. Explained the situation and they were bummed for us. Shannon invited us on the bus with them and I about peed my pants. So for the next 30-45 minutes as we waited for a ride my friend and I were shootin the breeze with these very chilled guys. An experience I'll never forget. And for the record, as intimidating as Michael looked (at least to me) with his huge demeanor and slicked back black ponytail, I don't think he has a mean cell in his body. Very soft spoken, soft handshake, totally caring. Defintely took me by surprise.
