Kia ora Stephen

Well the basic chord progression of Money is C, Eb, G (Cminor triad). So if you were to transpose to standard tuning you could use basic power chords as you would somewhat be able to replicate the 5ths that dominate the open C tuning. However I'm afraid that you'll be hard pressed to get that same warmth and depth of tone that open C slide on the 11string offers especially because the closest C you can get on a standard tuned guitar would be an octave higher than that on an open strum on the low C string in open C.

Hope that helps bro. Good luck

Message me or post if you want more thoughts or to discuss this

hey thanks harry

what do you mean by C minor triad , is the key C major or minor

do you know what scale it is, I have listed a few here, If i know the notes used i can work out the scale used hopefully

example is it a c minor blues pentatonic R b3 4 B5 5 b7 C minor blues R 2 b3 4 b5 5 b7 C minor Ionian scale R 2 b3 4 5 b6 b7

c minor pentatonic R b3 4 5 b7

c major blues pentatonic R 2 b3 3 5 6 or R b3 4 b5 5 6

any idea what chords go with the lyrics example below could you put the chords above the words, this way i can get the melody and phrasing right
I think this is the best way for me to learn songs, it would give me a start and i can go from there

also would you know what Rhythm it would be , ive listened to song but not really sure . Hope im not pushing the friendship here,

If i know the scale i can improv with a few solos in between

heres the Song for you , if you could put the chords above the lyrics

Well I hope you find your way

Through every heart wrenching day

With all those shitty decisions that you make

Hell I know the games, I know the games you play

So do you think you got enough time

To open all of your uranium mines

Before yes you go and you poison us all

You know your profit man it's gonna take its toll

And I don't know who you are

I don't know where you come from

I just know it is to hell you're going cos

You pollute everything with you big business

And I know it's all for your money

Hell yeah, all for your money

All for your money

Tell me man it's all for your money

So go now you go and you rape this Earth

You take her for what you think she's worth

But you take and you take and you take til there's nothing left

I don't call that business, I call that theft

So who do the Hell do you think you are

Why do you got to take things so far

You know you screw the Earth and then you look towards the stars

Tell me man why do you got to take things so far

And I don't know who you are

I don't know where you come from

I just know it is to hell you're going cos

You ruin everything with you big business

And I know it's all for your money

All for your money

Sweeter than honey

All for your Money

Tell me man can you eat your money

Tell me man can you eat your money

Cos that's what's gonna be left, that's what's gonna be left

So tell me man can you eat your money

Business man with your uranium mine,

will you gain a conscience

Politician man, there in your Government,

will you gain a conscience

Media man with all your newspapers,

Who lies must gain a conscience

Prime Minister with all our apathy,

will you GAIN A CONSCIENCE!

hope this is ok and im not hassling you too much, thanks for your time, your the only one bothered too reply

thank you stephen
