Does anyone know what type of studio equipment John uses while recording? Curious to know some of the gear he uses and software to mix everything down. I'd love to know what gear he has. If anyone has any insights then let me know! I'm a tech guru when it comes to audio equipment so I always find it neat to know what different artists use to record with.

Nice to have a fellow tech head around...

I know that April Uprising was recorded in JB's home studio/apartment place, set up with a pro tools HD system. Watch the making of AU DVD there is a far bit in there, and if your like me you will pick up on what being used. Pretty cool DVD actually.

Yeah I've watched the dvd it's fantastic! I'll have to check it out more closely. I didn't really see too much of the hardware that he was running though. (although I've only watched once and was more concentrating on all the content and how it was recorded rather than the gear) It's certainly a neat studio setup he has and I hope to have something similar in the future which is why I was curious.

Pretty sure they were using a digi003, but I could be wrong.

I have pro tools and logic pro at my home studio... both good in there own way. Plus there industry standard.

Just need to work more on my mic collection now!

How is your set up going?
