I've just been googling to see what Shannon and Michael were up to and came across these two articles:

The Michael Barker Trio:

The rest of my post, some rule is stopping posting two links in one go:

Shannon as the Youngfeller in the Spaghetti Western Orchestra:

There is a picture of him 3/4 of the way down the page.

Apologies if they have already been posted, thought might be of interest to some people.

i really miss these two amazing musicians :D

they were amazing musicians and made some great music as part of the trio, but life (and music) must go on :P

Judging by those two links, they both seem to be moving on fairly well and sharing their musicianship with more lucky musos around the country, which is definately not the worst thing that has happened to Australian Music!

In other news, the current John Butler Trio are equally amazing and making equally great music with different positive and negative aspects ;)

Hi all, I know this post is now a little out dated. But I have been having the pleasure of watching Michael Barker play at a joint here in Rotorua, New Zealand ( yes he is back home ) in the band Swamp Thing with Grant Haua. Amazing live stuff especially if you get there early you can watch them just jam out and have a laugh. Good times !
