Umm, I guess that John would play it in Open C, but the tab's in standard. Just mess around with the chords: G C E D

It sounds pretty good in standard actually. I can't remember what guitar john uses though, so don't know which tuning. I believe if it's the electric or six string it's usually standard and if it's the twelve string it's open C or the B tuning.

Yeah it doesn't sound too bad in standard, but some of the chords (esp the first) seems to have a bit more bass to it than standard allows. But that could be just my ears, or the fact i've the only guitar i've got available atm in standard is a 12 string... :woo:

Are you sure it's in Open C? Sounds like a 6 string.

I had a bit of a go at this today and I think that it's in drop D.

Sound's pretty close to me, except I'm not sure about the second chord, it's hard to make it out. Haven't worked out the rest yet.
