Summer tours have typically hit the mid-Atlantic region and also the Pacific northwest, so I would think you'll both get shows somewhat near you this summer. Dates have to be coming by May for a 5 or so week tour. I think the closest they'll get to my area would be Atlanta (The Tabernacle) probably in late July. But that's just speculation based on past years. Good luck!
Has anyone heard about any new music coming out of the JBT camp any time in the near future? With no touring over here in the U.S. last year, I was hoping there might be some new studio work coming out in 2017!
Any idea what brand of silverware? I'm only asking because my grandfather worked for Oneida for decades and designed a number of their most popular designs. Would be awesome to know he was using one of them! Thanks for the cool info, Iner_tia!
Looking forward to more U.S. summer dates coming.... Embarrassed to say I don't even know who Dispatch is. Did a search on them and they seem to be pretty regional in the NE U.S. JBT is only playing one night at MSG, correct? I saw Dispatch is playing two nights there. Enjoy!
Hey there pomes! Devil Woman was last, as best as I can recall. How You Sleep did come before Don't Wanna See Your Face. I wasn't keeping written record, just going by memory. I can't believe there hasn't been more written about the tour here. Best show by JBT I've ever seen! Peace.
Well, pomes, we attended last night's gig at the Plaza Live here in Orlando and it was EPIC!!!! The best of the 6 gigs we've seen over the last 8 years! John was bantering back and forth with the audience a little. They played almost 2 1/2 hours. He mentioned it was their first time playing here - and it seemed like he was having a blast! Mentioned that he loved the food from the local restaurant called "Dandelions". I hope he enjoyed it so much that we become a staple city when JBT tours the southeast U.S. region. Here is the set list from last night, as I recall it 99% sure of the order and songs:
Spring To Come
Used To Get High
Gonna Be A Long Time
I'd Do Anything
Blame It On Me
Fire In The Sky
Don't Wanna See Your Face
How Do You Sleep At Night
Livin' In The City
Again, THANK YOU to John and the band for coming to Orlando - hope to see y'all again SOON!!!! :)
